I've just got sausage and chips, and fishcake and chips. The chips tasted like they were last nights and the sausage and fishcake were dryed up. This used to be the best chip shop in Winchester, but it's gone downhill. The girl behind the counter was just stood there chewing gum, on her phone. No please or thank you, i don't think i will be going back there again. ~ danny s

Absolutely amazing. We were the 7th Eastleigh Scout Group taking part in a residential nearby, for which for our main meal one dinner the young people requested for a takeaway. We phoned up and placed the order, a week before. Staff were happy to support and and accommodating. Portion sizes were perfectly adequate. Great value for money. ~ Andy D

First visit and very impressed. Large cod is definitely large with plenty of actual fish not just battter. Staff friendly and quick service for a Saturday evening. Large chips is just about enough for 2 people but they could be a little more generous. Very glad to see that all the packaging is biodegradable. Good value and will be visiting again! ~ Oliver J

I visited this chippy on holiday a couple of weeks ago and it was by far the best chippy I have ever been too! you don't get Fish and Chips like that at home! It was very busy but suppose thats because they are so good so its worth a wait. My friend had the Gluten Free F+Cs and loved it! When is Seafare coming to Lancaster??? ~ Emma L

We had take out on Thursday for their Gluten free night (I have celiacs). The haddock and chips was delicious. It was so nice being able to have fish and chips on our visit and know it was safe to eat and clearly marked as gluten free. Highly recommend. ☺️ ~ Samantha N

Me and my friend went for a Sunday take away. The young man servicing us was most friendly and welcoming and provided us with all the information on how the food is prepared, with a smile. Chips were crispy and the fish was of good quality, really enjoyed. ~ Tia D

The service here is very good - particularly given the difficulties social distancing brings with it. They are doing a good job. The food quality is great (they even did us our fish without skin as this is how we prefer it) and it is good value. ~ Leon T

Lovely friendly staff who always go the extra mile. Great food at good prices. I love the small section for the kids with colouring pencils so the kids are occupied while waiting for our food. ~ Ella M

Excellent cod with a good batter, not greasy but crisp. Chips tasty and thick enough to bite into but not soggy. Would definitely revisit if staying locally for longer. ~ Adrian L
